The 8th Asia Pacific Deaf Games brought Deaf athletes from across the Asia-Pacific region to Taoyuan, Taiwan in 2015 to compete across ten sports — a celebration of skill, community and the spirit of the Deaf sporting movement. 2015年第八屆亞太聽障運動會匯聚亞太地區各國聽障運動員齊聚台灣桃園，於十項競賽中一較高下，展現實力、凝聚社群，彰顯聽障運動精神。

Chinese Taipei opens strong中華台北 首日告捷
On the opening day of competition, the host nation's Deaf athletes claimed four gold medals to sit third on the medal table — an electric start to the 2015 Games.競賽首日，地主隊聽障運動員勇奪四面金牌，名列獎牌榜第三，為2015年賽會揭開精彩序幕。
